Are your products suitable for vegans?
Yes, all our products are suitable for vegans. We don't use any animal ingredients or animal derived ingredients in any of our products.

Are your products cruelty free?
Yes, all our products are cruelty free. We test our products on human volunteers, not animals. We don't use any ingredients which have been tested on animals.

Why is my product a slightly different colour from last time I ordered it?
There is variation in natural ingredients, so batches can have slight variations in colour, texture and aroma. This does not affect the quality of the product as we always use the highest quality ingredients.

How soon will I get my order?
We dispatch orders 1-3 days (excluding weekends) from receipt of your order. Our standard shipping is Royal Mail 2nd class which should take 2-3 days to arrive but can sometimes take up to 5 working days. 

My Order is a gift can you add a gift message? 
Yes, as well as sending your order directly to the recipient, we can include a gift note (instead of the packing slip) with your personal message - please type the text you want in the box at checkout.

How many uses will I get from my product?
Many of our products are concentrated, they don't contain any water so a little goes a long way. Typical examples; 70g deodorant tin should last 2-3 months.

Why is there polystyrene packing peanuts in my parcel?
We use biodegradable packing peanuts in our parcels, although they look and feel like polystyrene, they are made from plant based starch! If you put one into some water it will dissolve, polystyrene would just float.

What sort of packaging do you use for posting my order?
We use padded paper envelopes (plastic free, filled with recycled paper NOT bubble wrap) and boxes to post out orders. The products are wrapped in paper or tissue to protect them in transit and we use paper tape. Most of our products come in tins which when packed will fit through a standard letter box** so hopefully you won't miss a parcel if you are out when it arrives!                                                                **except for glass bottles/jars and larger orders

How should I store my products?
To prolong the life of your products, they should be kept in a cool dry place, out of sunlight. Normal room temperature is fine, but if there's a heatwave you might like to put balms in the fridge to stop them melting!

Do your products contain any allergens?
Many of our products contain essential oils, most of which contain allergens. These will be listed at the end of the ingredients list on the product labels. If you want allergen free products, the unscented/original versions of our products are allergen-free.

Are your products safe to use during pregnancy or breastfeeding?
It is recommended that essential oils are not used during the first 3 months of pregnancy and advice should be taken from a health professional regarding their use during later pregnancy and breastfeeding. We recommend using the unscented/original versions of our products as these don't contain any essential oils.

Can I have a sample?
We now sell trial/travel size of most products so that you can try the products before buying the full size.

Are your products suitable for children?
Our unscented/original products are safe for children over the age of 3, they have not been assessed for children under 3 years.

What is the shelf life of your products?
Our products have a shelf life of between 12 and 24 months from manufacture. Each product will have a batch number and best before date on the label.

Are your products safety assessed?
Yes, all our products have been safety assessed and approved by a cosmetic chemist.
